Does Black and Red = Yami Kawaii?

As I continue to explore kawaii and J-fashion, I keep trying to figure out what each category is called. This isn’t easy because I don’t use social media O_O

It dawned on me that darker colors might not be called “kawaii.” After a little googling, I found the term “Yami Kawaii” on Aesthetics Wiki.

According to Aesthetics Wiki, Yami Kawaii is “a Japanese aesthetic that was derived from Yume Kawaii with a stronger emphasis on dark themes and colors.”
